Diego Castelli


As President and Founder of level eleven consulting, Diego helps small and medium businesses grow and make a difference in their communities. Recognized as a charismatic, culturally adaptive leader, he brings 25 years of global corporate experience and broad multi-industry background.

His career has focused on general management and global brand and business development with a highlight on leading the digital transformation of publishing businesses in Europe and Latin America. As Vice President International at Harlequin, a division of Harper Collins, from 2003 to 2014 Diego doubled profits and grew revenue by 40% in Scandinavia and launched the company’s operations in Brazil. He began his career in marketing with Unilever in Mexico, then with British American Tobacco in Switzerland, followed by general management with L’Oréal in France and Mexico. Upon immigrating to Canada in 2001, Diego was a Retail Banking Director at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Diego has lived and worked in North America, Europe and South America, is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and competent in French and Portuguese. He is a member of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and has also done voluntary work for the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies as a member of the development team of its Global Business Management Certificate. Diego is a graduate of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Industrial Engineering and Systems.

Diego lives in Oakville, Canada with his wife Patricia and their 2 sons. When not working, he enjoys playing competitive tennis, cycling, discovering the world with his family and playing the bass guitar.
